Xiamen King Long United Automotive Industry Company, China's leading bus manufacturer, exported 200 high-end buses to Europe.

They are to be used as public service vehicles and will be put into operation in Nicosia, the capital city of Cyprus.

Among them, 80 buses are equipped with the automatic wheelchair lift for passengers, the versatile and cost-effective - RPB 35.11. The lifts are manufactured by Caroil System, the Italian subsidiary of the Mobility Networks Group.

The RPB 35.11, a step compartment cassette lift, has been specially designed to be versatile, reliable, and reduce installation time. This lift is designed to fit in a step compartment on big coaches, so it takes up no extra space and is only used when needed. The lift offers a high lifting capacity of 300 kg (HD) or 400 kg and can be adjusted to fit any vehicle step.

As a member of the EU, Cyprus has set extremely high standards for buses, and after several rounds of assessment and after all the quality checks have been performed, the independent assessor has issued a statement, showing its full approval of high-quality King Long buses.

King Long officially entered Cyprus in 2008 by delivering travel coaches and city buses.
